Our internships have also led to permanent employment!
A Little Bit About Etch
We’re a talented family of rebels, innovators, disruptors, growth hackers, strategists, creators, designers and engineers, based in offices in Southampton, London and South Africa.

We’re led by our fearless founders - Tom and Shelly Frame. Their spirit is Etch’s lifeblood. We’re unafraid to break the rules, challenge the status quo and fail forwards. Like our founders, we don’t sit still. We’re continuously learning, evolving and striving to help our people and partners reach their commercial goals

Who can apply for these internships?
Everyone is welcome to apply for our roles, and we are determined to ensure that no applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment. This means you don’t have to have attended university to apply; we care more about your willingness to learn.
Our 2019 Marketing intern Jess, has this to say about her experience with the Etch Academy:
“Finding a job in the marketing industry can be tough and the competition is fierce. I didn’t attend university which I have always been told would be a disadvantage, but I decided to take the plunge and apply for the Etch Academy! This Experience has provided me with so much ‘real-life’ work experience and I’ve have learnt so much about digital marketing including SEO, PPC, Paid Social, Email Marketing, Content Marketing and influencer marketing. I have been given the opportunity work on a variety of different projects during my internship and having this exposure has been so valuable. I honestly couldn’t think of a better place to learn and help you get a head start in your career!”
Our 2019 marketing intern Marte, on her experience:
“Stepping into the professional industry after finishing your studies can be scary regardless of how well you did at uni. What is it going to be like? Will I handle the work load and the deadlines? What’s expected of me in a professional environment? At the same time, you also want to be challenged and prove — both to yourself and to your employer — that you can be a valuable asset and that they’ve made the right decision betting on you.
Interning with Etch through the Etch Academy has made the transition from graduate to professional super smooth. They have provided me with support and room to grow and develop as a designer. I’ve been working with real clients and been treated as a part of the Etch family from day one. I’ve worked on projects both by myself and along with more experienced designers and I have learned so much. I can’t imagine a better way to start a career in the creative digital industry.”
