November already, where is this year going! Anyway, enough of the small talk, let's get into what you're really here for - seeing what the Play Team has been up to this week....
Commandos 2 has been one of my favourite games and was excited to see they are working on the HD remaster version which would be cross-platform too.
Looking forward to trying it out.
This portfolio page blew me away this week. Imagine what might be possible in web browsers in the future!
This week I've been rekindling my long-standing love of the colony/story building Rimworld by Ludeon Studios. This time stacking mods on for a bit of extra flavour.
I'm also off to The Big Game LAN this weekend to represent the Play team and play a lot of games!
I haven't updated on my Autonauts base but it's still a work in progress...
Unfortunately, I don't have anything interesting other than lunchtime Rocket League where Ben G was missed, but I did score my first ceiling shot! (which I annoyingly forgot to save the replay for 🤦♂️)
A quiet week for me as well. I did get out to Guildford this week to see some of our lovely clients. I can't say any more than that for now, but what I can talk about is that being in Guildford allowed for a trip to my favourite Katsu Curry place, Kokoro - it saddens me we don't have one here in Southampton, but my waistline is thankful!
This week I've carried on playing OSRS which has been consuming my time.
Today, the review embargo for infamous game designer Hideo Kojima's new game Death Stranding was lifted and the games media are getting to have their say. I'm mostly curious about the game more so than excited to play it, but it's been interesting to see the marmite-esque reception. Mostly however, I've just been suffering severe ear worm...
And that's it - see you again soon everybody 👋
