On Wednesday, Rocket League season 4 launched with a Western theme that features a new arena named Deadeye Canyon and a new car named Outlaw.
This update contains lots of welcome quality of life changes like improvements to casual playlist that punishes players who leave regularly (this happens a lot!), ranked playlist restrictions and a welcome change for streamers, with streamer safe music functionality being incorporated in to the game.
Another week, another year on year increase in viewing time on Twitch. StreamElements monthly "State of the Stream" report indicates 1.75 billion hours of video was watched on Twitch last month, a 23% increase on last year.

It's worth noting, whilst gaming is a significant topic for live streaming content, the most popular category on Twitch is "Just Chatting" where the content isn't necessarily gaming focused. This indicates that live-streamed content, over heavily produced and curated video, is a desirable format that will likely extend to personalities and brands beyond just gaming.
