Game Dev Heroes is a celebration of the people behind the scenes of the games industry. From brilliant developers and designers, to inspiring management, support staff, and positive role models.

Etch Play are thrilled to share that we're supporting the event this year, which is taking place virtually in 2020 due to COVID-19. As well as providing across-the-board support, we're especially involved in the Marketing + Community award, given to the marketer who has impressed the judges the most this past year, which has been a fascinating time for games.

Dan Thomas, Head of Games Services at Etch Play, had this to say:

"I had the priviledge to attend a few previous editions of Game Dev Heroes, and what I love about it is that it's focused on people. It's about individuals who are contributing incredible things to this amazing sector. It's such a positive event, and it's an honour to be involved and make a contribution to ensuring events like this keep happening."

GameDevHeroes takes place 13th-15th October. Stay tuned to GameDevHeroes on Twitter for award announcements and further info.
