The nominations for this year's Develop:Star awards have been revealed, and this year there's one nomination in particular that caught our eye: Us!

Alongside Media Molecule, NEONHIVE, Lauren Moses from Code Coven, Sean Walsh from Wired Productions, and Sola Kasali from EA, Etch Play are an official finalist for this year's coveted "Marketing Star" Award.

In the past year, Etch Play have earned praise and attention, for marketing popular titles such as Hello Games' No Man's Sky and Deep Silver's Saints Row franchise.

As well as receiving finalist status directly, Etch Play are also thrilled to report that a huge number of our clients and business partners have received recognition - including household industry names such as Sumo Digital, Supermassive Games, and Bossa Games

In total, eighteen nominations have been received by Etch Play clientele, spanning categories such as Best Game, Technical Innovation, Recruitment, Best Studio, Original IP, Diversity Star and Tomorrow's Star. It's exceptional company to keep, and we're extremely proud of everyone we've worked with over the last 12 months for all of their myriad achievements.

Further updates from Etch about our exciting work with other finalists are set to arrive in the near future.

Dan Thomas, Head of Games Services at Etch Play, said "Recognition is one of the most important forms of feedback we can get, and celebrations like the Develop:Star Awards are a great example. We're thrilled to be a part of it. The fact that so many of our amazing clients and peers are also being recognised reminds us of how grateful we are to play a small role in the industry that everyone at Etch Play is so committed to."

The Develop:Star Awards Ceremony takes place on July 13th at the Brighton Metropole. The winners will be selected by industry vote, open to anyone who has either attended Develop:Brighton in the last 3 years or registered for a 2022 conference pass. Eligible voters should receive further information by email.
