Digital Strategist

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, experienced strategist to lead digital strategy on a number of high profile clients within our Digital Products team.


You’ll be completely committed to making our clients’ businesses more effective across their digital ecosystem and be involved right from initial proposal to developing long-term relationships with some of the UK’s biggest brands. You’ll need a curious and questioning mind, a good general understanding of the theory, a can-do attitude and a determination to provide compelling insight. We’ve found that strategists can come from all types of experience, from data insights and UX, to digital marketing and psychology.

Roles and Responsibilities

Familiar with working in a fast-paced environment, you are obsessed with all things digital, and have an intimate understanding of the latest trends. You are experienced in dealing with clients from a previous professional life (probably agency or consultancy), where you take enjoyment from buying them into the shifting digital landscape and explaining to them the benefits that digital products can bring to their business.

You have worked within the digital industry for some time and importantly have built real products (web or app) with brands and businesses in the industry. The work you have completed has had a tangible impact on the businesses you’ve worked with and customers love it. In all of the projects that you have worked within, you have taken a lead role in defining the strategy for the proposition, thriving under the responsibility of owning, interpreting and executing against insights that make the proposition special. You have no fears over any client challenge and, whatever the industry, are confident that you will add value to the client’s business.

People always say you are easy to work with – you are equally as comfortable talking with designers about user experience as you are talking to CXOs about why digital products are important to them commercially. You enjoy working with people and have a passion for doing things that are new and will have an impact on the people they touch and, even more so, enjoy inspiring a wider team of these sorts of characters. Likewise, you are as happy to have granular conversations about a digital product, as you are having star-gazing conversations about future trends in web and financial services. You like clients, or at the very least ‘get them’ and understand how to turn strategies into products into roadmaps. You have proven your ability to do this.

You have lots of ideas on process and people and are always keen to bring the best of your experience to a project team. You care about how you and the business are perceived within the industry and work hard to improve the reputation of both.  You have a good understanding of what competitors are up to and strong views on how to differentiate yourself and the business.

Accountability does not scare you and you are able and willing to challenge at every point to ensure that quality is as high is as it can be and clients as happy as they can be.

You are ambitious and looking forward to creating the future for your clients and their industries.
